Image-making

Image-making is for me a collaborative process between me and the device, whether that be the camera or the computer. These images were created first by the camera, then they were processed with software that meshes the color and movement of video pixels rearranging the color an almost unrecognizable landscape. At first I was intrigued by the result, now I am more interested and curious to see what else happens as I combine images and movement, especially when thinking of site-specific work. Most of the images depict the North East landscape and everything that catches my eye of the urban environment. From afar, they begin to resemble area maps or abstract paintings.

I am interested in investigating the texture in images and the feelings it can provoke to look at them. Shapes and colors are what attracts my attention and I form a composition through the lens. I work mostly in digital form.
